I thought mine went pretty well, Shawna. I can't say if they felt excited per se (except for maybe my sports drama idea -- they said they were suckers for sports movies) but once I got into the actual pitching, it did feel sort of conversational. Which is what I aim for when I do these kind of things, either as an attorney or now a screenwriter. We wrapped up in about 45 minutes altogether.
Hey guys, Sorry... holiday madness, you know how it goes.
Like Chris, I feel more like it was a conversation, rather than an all out pitch. Of course, I have no idea if that's right or wrong. I think it went well, but just like any job interview (which is what it was) you have to wait and see what they decide. Like any employer, they have qualities they are looking for not only in terms of story (what you can bring to the table) but in terms of who YOU are. Just relax be yourself and you'll do fine, Shawna.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of us.
Dave... you're the best! Thanks for the continuing support!
I never know if I'm an "aspiring" screenwriter or just a screenwriter, since I have written at least one screenplay but haven't sold a thing... I'm so confused.

I'll be talking to them Tuesday. I would have liked to have gotten it over with sooner, but whatever.
How did you feel after the call? Did they seem excited about your ideas?
