Happy Birthday, Dad!

Today is my Dad's 75th birthday. I would have called him but the crazy (and I mean insane) woman that he's married to hasn't let me talk to him in a couple of years. Whenever I call, he's ALWAYS "napping", "out for a walk" or "gone with your brother". EVERY TIME. Yeah, likely story, crazy lady. So, I guess that I'll just say Happy birthday to him here.

I love you, Dad. Happy Birthday!
Signed,
Your little one.

Thanks, WC. I'm sure the Gorgon who controls things at their home wouldn't let me talk to him and since I've zero desire to talk to her, this will have to do.

Happy B-day to your Pops!

Oh, if it were only THAT simple. She ONLY lets him to talk to my brother... who lives in Seattle so it's not like we can just pass the phone. Regardless, Dad's birthday is over. The next time I go to Seattle, I'll just show up on their doorstep, she won't be able to deny me talking to him then.

Ohh, sista, you need to not let that crazy chick prevent you from talking to your dad.

OSM, trust me... sjprt of ripping the phone out of her hand, and sticking it in his... there ain't much I can do about it. Especially not when they're in Seattle and I'm in Atlanta.

Hope your Dad had a good birthday, and hope you get to speak to him soon - "the Gorgon" is so wrong to keep him from someone who loves him.

Sal, uep, she's wrong but there ain;t a thing I can do about it. Luckily, my Dad has a very severe short term memory problem and he'll never remember who did or didn't call. He does know that I love him, and that's about as good as it's gonna get until the bitch is dead.

Sorry you don't get to say HB directly to him WG. At least you are thinking of him which is much more than lots of people do about their Dad's.

Thanks for the congrats on the job. Catching my breath at moment, been flatout for about a month crossing Oz and back, then going travelling by car for work and pretty sucky internet, really just enough to answer work emails. Going to try and blog tonight.

Hope you are well!
cheers
Dave.
