Just to remind. It's a hoax.

Check in the contents under "Hoaxes".

But nevermind. Whoever wrote that was right anyway.

Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. Who would want to be a leader in this day and age?

Spanish, Thank you but I'm aware it's a hoax. As you noted, it's status as a hoax doesn't negatate it being true.

Olaf, I keep hoping he's just damned.

olaf legend, someone with determination and courage would want to be a leader in any day and age.

writergurl, yes I thought you'd be aware and just wanted to make a statement, neverthless I posted that link to be sure. GWB will not be remembered as JFK or any other great presidents. They have far more sympathy.

Love him or hate (I suspect I know which one applies to you, Spanish) I still believe Bush is brave and has guts to put his face above the parapet - Do not misunderstand, I am not saying he is good at his job, though. JFK has been blessed with the James Dean syndrome - Popularity increased with early demising. Can anyone seriously have objective opinion of Kennedy without bring to mind his assassination?

Olaf,
"Brave"? My ass. I don't see HIM out there getting shot at. And before you drag "he made a trip to Baghdad" into this, the fucking idiot wasted MORE of MY money (you're not a US citizen so it ain't your money) showboating when he could have spent the same resources making sure that the service members who ARE serving in Iraq and ARE (truly) being "brave" in the face of very real danger, get the equipment they need to do their jobs.

Don't fucking mention "brave" and Bush in the same sentence, you do the word an injustice.

Besides, "brave" does not make one a capable leader. As for other adjectives to describe ol' Shrub, try: arrogant, inarticulate, intolerant, homophobic, reckless and war monger for a start.

I did not realise you knew him that well. He speaks v. highly of you. I apologise for touching raw nerve, but I would rather have him as a leader than Soddem Hussain. I guess I am alone in that sentiment.

Winston Churchill never picked up a gun in WW2, I hasten to add. I would not tar him with the "unbrave" brush. Again, as I am not US citizen, I apologise for getting my nose in - I did not mean to get involved in subject that has nothing to do with me.

WG, I promise now I shall stick only to the screenwriting.

I'm sorry.

Olaf, for Christ's sake, never apologize for your opinions. Or speaking them, that's one of the BEST things about the US (that Bush and his ilk are trying to ciurtail by the way.) You're entitled to your opinions just as I;m entitled to disagree wtih them. Comment as you wih, just be aware that I won't feel the need to treat you "gently" when you spout nonsense such as: "I would rather have him as a leader than Soddem Hussain."

Who would rather have Hussein? Nobody. I thibnk. However, Bush took us to war (warmongering) with Iran NOT because there were WMD's or becuase Iraq was treat to the US. It has been proven that Hussien had NOTHING to do with Al Quieda or Bin laden. NOTHING! he took us to war form some reasons that I'm not privy to. Mostly, I suspect because Hussien "tried to kill my Dad." Don't believe me, google it, I ain't making this shit up.

As for making shit up... this speaking v. highly of me... what crap. The man doesn't know me and is actively TYRING to write legislation that would sanction discrminiation AGAINST me. Try doing some f'ing reasearch before you pull crap out your butt.

You're entitled to yuor opinions, and you cna comment upon them here, but please... enough with bullshit. Here's another American idiom for you... "Never bullshit a bullshiter."

Actually, that is an english idiom, I think you will find. Many of the american ones are.

I did not think you would ever agree with me.

As I said, I am going back to screenwriting. You are just too aggressive for me, I am afraid. Too much of that in the world leads to world wars, we know that. You are a good person, but I do not enjoy crossing swords with you in constant time. I cannot bear all this negativity.
